July is National Hot Dog Month and what much better way to celebrate than the Houston Hot Dog Eating Championship at The Hot Dog Shop, Houston’s hot dog headquarters for 25 years. 1 person will take gone the title “Houston’s Leading Dog,” a .00 money prize and trophy. Second prize is .00. This is the third time for the championship which was bent as a fundraiser for the Houston North West Lions Club. Activities contain a hula-hoop contest and watermelon eating contest for youngsters under 12, a bake sale, live auction, and other fun activities. The event starts at 1:00 PM. The hula-hoop contest starts at 2:00 PM and the hot dog eating championship starts at three:00 PM. The watermelon consuming contest is held quickly following the hot dog eating championship. Entry in the Houston Hot Dog Eating Championship is .00, a 100% charitable doanation to the Lions Club. The title “Houston’s Best Dog” and trophy make fantastic bragging civil rights for fraternities, firms, or organizations. To infiltrate, road sign up at the Hot Dog Shop or call 713-937-8039.
